# Share a model

A model's owner can share it with other Noket accounts. Shared models appear in the other account's
model list marked **Shared**.

Open the **Members** dialog from a model card on [Models](https://noket.dev/models) or from the model's
detail page.

## Add a member

**Add member** grants access to an account that already exists. Enter a username or email address —
the console resolves it — then choose:

- **Role**: Admin or Member. Only the owner can grant Admin.
- **Access expires**: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, or never.
- **Limits**: an amount budget, a token limit, and a request limit, each with its own period. Leaving
them blank means the member gets no extra limit.

**Review** restates the account, role, and expiry date before anything is committed. If the account
does not exist or cannot be added, you get an error; the console does not silently turn it into an
invitation.

## Invite by email

**Invite** uses the same fields as adding a member, plus the email address to send the link to. The
invitation link is valid for 7 days and can be copied from the dialog. The role, expiry, and limits you
set are stored with the invitation and take effect when it is accepted.

The console shows whether the email went out. If it did not, copy the link and send it yourself.

## Pending invitations

Invitations that have not been accepted are listed below the members with the email address, role,
link expiry, access expiry, and limits. From the row menu you can resend, edit, or revoke:

- **Resend** issues a new link. The platform stores only a digest of the token, so the original link
cannot be shown again; the old link stops working immediately and the 7-day expiry restarts.
- **Edit** changes the role (owner only), limits, and access expiry. The link stays the same and keeps
  its original expiry date.
- **Revoke** invalidates the invitation.

At most 50 invitations can be pending for one model. To send another, revoke one first.

An invitation can be accepted once. Accepting it creates access but does not create an API key — any
key in the invited account can call the model once access exists.

## Members list

Each row shows the member, when their access expires (or *Never*), their limits with usage, their role,
and their status: active, expired, or revoked. Expired status is derived from the access expiry date.

From the row menu you can edit a member's role, limits, and expiry, or remove the member. Removing asks
for confirmation.

## What revocation does

Revoking or removing a member immediately removes that account's access to this model. Every API key in
that account loses the model; other models are unaffected. The account's key is not deleted, and no
spent amounts are cleared.

The same applies to you: leaving a shared model from its card ends your access for all your keys.
